The 14th International Meeting on Chemical Sensors (IMCS) was held from May 20 to May 23, 2012 in Nuremberg, Germany. (http://www.imcs2012.de)
In 2012, 507 high-quality contributions from 43 countries from all over the world were presented. The huge number of worldwide contributions, the excellent plenary and invited talks, the large number of participants from industry, and the combination with the SENSOR+TEST expo, which is the world's largest fair on Sensors, were the key for a successful conference.
IMCS 2012 was hosted by Prof. Moos' team of Functional Materials from the University of Bayreuth. AMA, the Association for Sensors and Measurment, was responsible for the organization, whereas the Functional Materials team was responsible for the scientific content.
